Good luck! Happy scrapping! Have fun! Happy Halloween!

For my project I made a owl wall hanging.

This cute owl came from Scrappy Dew. It can be found the vault in the past freebie section. The spider also came from the past freebie section of the vault. He's wearing rain boots, I just didn't add them for this project. Since the door the owl is hanging on is white you can't see it too clearly but the hat is attached to the owl by a white piece of paper. I put the owl on a double slider using the directions I found at Dawns Stamping Studio

Good luck! Happy scrapping! Have fun! Happy Halloween! Your next stop is Jenn. If you enjoyed my project I update my facebook page more than my blog.

unBOOlievable Blog Hop

Hi and Welcome to the UnBOOlievable Blog Hop. You should have came from Ashley's blog. If you started the hop from my blog please go back to Lisa's blog, where the blog hop starts.

One day while in JoAnn's I took my 2 boys down the Halloween isle to look at the decorations. I had no intentions of buying any decorations but my 3 year old found a jointed skeleton he fell in love with. I checked the price tag and at $35 the jointed skeleton was staying in the store. I told him I would make him a skeleton when we got home. A few sheets of white paper, a few sheet of black paper and 18 jewelry rings later and he had a jointed skeleton for just a few bucks.
To make the skeleton I mixed 2 patterns from Scrappy Dew The hips and feet are from a former freebie skeleton that is found in the vault. The rest of the pieces are from the Halloween palz collection, which is also found in the vault. I could have used all the pieces from the former freebie skeleton but I had already made outlines of each individual bone from the Halloween Palz skeleton (I bought it when it was still in the store) before I bought the membership to the vault and got the freebie skeleton. Halloween Palz are in shoes so I needed the feet from the freebie skeleton and I liked the hips better on the freebie skeleton. :)

I hope you enjoyed my project, your next stop in the hop is Lucy

Here is the complete line up for the hop.

Cupcake Hippo using Techno stamper sketch

I made this sweet little card using the Freebie from Scrappy Dew called Cupcake Hippo. I followed the sketch from Techno Stamper. I brayered ink on dry wall tape and used that in place of magic mesh.

For my project I am showcasing a Star Album I made.

Here is the album closed.

A top view of the book. You can see why it is called a star book.

The next several pictures are the inside pages of the book. There are a total of 7 different pages.

I placed the word family on acetate and created a slide mechanism so when the book is open you can reach in between the pages and pull the acetate up making it seem as if the word is floating over the book. Next time I make it I'll more the sliding mechanism to a different page so the pages tied open aren't showcased.

I hope you enjoyed looking at my star book. The next stop on the hop is Jamie

Aiden's birthday blog hop

A fellow design team member's son turns 5 today. A few of us made a card to send to him. For my card I decided to make a waterfall card, because what 5 year doesn't like an interactive card. I found the directions for the card at Splitcoast Stampers
I found the angry bird clipart I used for the background paper here I imported the images into photoshop then created a background behind it to make my very own angry birds background paper.
I mainly do paper piecings now and it's been a very long a very long time since I pulled out my colored pencils. Don't look to closely at the colored images, I really need to find all the supplies I use when using gamsol odorless mineral spirits over my colored pencils. I regular q-tip just doesn't cut it lol.

If you like what you see here on my blog I"d love to have you join me on my Facebook page I tend to post more projects over there than I do here on my blog.
