April Scraptastical Kreations Design Team Challenge Blog Hop




Welcome the the Scraptastical Kreations Design Team Challenge Blog Hop. We're so happy to have you hop along with us as we inspire you with our creations for this month's challenge. If you came from Tracy  then you're on the right track. If you've just happened upon my blog today, be sure to head back to Nancy's blog and hop from the beginning, you're not going to want to miss a thing. For April, our challenge is to create any Easter or spring project using any SK files. You can share it with us by posting it on our Facebook Fan Page HERE, or in the SK Facebook Group HERE. You must have your project posted and linked no later than 12 am May 1, 2013.
One challenge winner will receive a $15 GC to shop with in the Scraptastical Kreations Store.
And for hopping along with us one lucky winner will receive a $10 GC to shop with at the Scraptastical Kreations store. To be eligible to win the hop candy: 
  • Leave a comment on each blog.
  • "Like" the SK Facebook page and say hi from the hop.
  • You don't have to become a follower of each blog to win this prize but we'd love it if you did!

For my project I created an Easter layout that is perfect for those pictures of Easter egg hunts. I mixed and matched 4 sets from Scraptastical Kreations to create my paper piecings. I used " Cruisin' with my Chick", "Eggs 2 dye 4" and "Easter Cuties" to create the train the Easter Bunny is driving off in. To create the little boy holding the egg I used the body and egg from "Easter Cuties" the face and hair is from "Pool Sharks"  The paper I used is from a digital paper pack I created called Easter Fun. I designed my layout in a digital program then printed the paper with the mats out and added the paper piecings. I am offering the Easter pack on my facebook page for free. It can be found at the top of the page by clicking on the red heart labeled free digital pack. You must like the page before it allows you to click on the paper.

Easter Blog Hop



Welcome to the "Easter" Blog Hop!  

We're so happy you could join us today!

For my project I made an Easter wreath. 



All of the paper on the wreath is from a paper pack I designed using various templates. You can find it free on my facebook page: Hot Berry Designs. 


The paper piecings I used on the wreath are from  Scraptastical Kreations.  I used quite a few sets. I used My First Easter, Crusin' with my Chick, Eggs 2 Dye 4, Easter Cuties, Eggs to dye for and Welcome Spring.

For my project I made a card using a stamp set from The Angel Company called Happy Trails. The horse is heat embossed and stained with walnut ink. The paper is from a paper pack called Genevieve, also from The Angel Company.
