For my project I created a wordbook using Funtime software. My favorite thing about paper piecings is the ability to mix files to create the exact image you want, so inside the wordbook I used a variety of summer files from the new patterns section of the KaDoodle Bug Designs website.
Here is the wordbook closed. No KaDoodle Bug Designs were used here.
page 1. The penguin came from Coolin' and Chillin'. The ice cream and popcicles came from Cool Treats.
Page 2: The sun button on this page came from Too cute to be green. The wave border is from the borders set. All the other files came from Building Sandcastles.
page 4: I mixed a few patterns to create this page. I used the standing boy from Building Sandcastles and turned him into a little girl by adding pigtails and a shirt. The shirt came from birthday party kids. The pitcher of kool-aid came from Keepin' it kool title. The little boy on the scooter is from Birthday Party kids. The sun border I made by welding the sun buttons with a rectangle.
page 5: This page uses baseball boys, baseball accessories and the borders set .
In addition to the grand prize Melissa is offering, you also have a chance to win blog candy from me. I will create a set of paper piecings for you made from any KaDoodle Bug Designs file, your choice. For a chance to win my blog candy you need to become a follower on my blog and a fan on my Facebook page, Hot Berry Designs. You also need to leave a comment on my fan page stating you are coming from the blog hop.
