Techno Stamper's sketch using Too cute to be green

The sketch at Techno Stamper this week was so easy to follow. Here's the card I put together.

and here's the sketch Techno Stamper asked us to follow.

My card uses Too Cute to be green from Kadoodle Bug Designs and the paper is from a digital collection called Boys and Girls of Summer by Shel Belle Scraps and The Scrappy Kat.

Gone Fishing

I had to flip the sketch sideways to get the look I wanted but this card uses the sketch from Seems a little sketchy. All the elements on this card are paper piecings from Kadoodle Bug Designs. The boy in the boat and the bobbers are from the Gone Fishing set and the sun button and the cattails are from the Too Cute to be Green set.

July 4th layouts

I can't believe the 4th of July is just around the corner. Kadoodle Bug Designs has a contest over on their facebook page: Create a 1 or 2 page scrapbook page showcasing a 4th of July family tradition.
For this challenge I created both a traditional scrapbook page and a digital scrapbook page.

Scrappy Moms Stamps has a Patriotic challenge going on at their blog.

For this layout I mixed pieces from 6 different KaDoodle Bug Designs sets.  I used Coolin' and Chillin', A Blasting 4th , Popsicles and Fireworks, Cool Treats, Monkey with cupcake and Baking with mommy

For the digital layout I used A Blasting 4th from KaDoodle Bug Designs and pieces from a blog train called Country Pride.

Hope everyone has a safe and Happy 4th of July!

popping by to wish you a happy birthday

Sweet Sketch Wednesday's sketch this week was an easy one to play along with.

For my card I used a white card base and inked the edges with SU!'s Marina Mist. I printed off some digital pages from Mags Graphics collection called Lakehouse.
The challenge this week on Kadoodle Bug Designs facebook page is to mix and match at least 2Kadoodle Bug Designs paper peicing patterns to create a new pattern so I mixed up two past freebies, Bubble Blowing Fun and Christmas dog peeker pattern sets to create the little doggie. The little bones are brads I had in my stash.

flowers for you

I've had a project in mind for the last 3 challenges Little Scraps of Heaven has hosted but time slipped away each week. This week I was determined to play along with this sketch.

Here is my take on the sketch

I used 3 different files to create this card. The Turtle is from Turtle Valentine, the flower petals and leaves are from Daisy and the stem and bee is from Spring has Sprung.

MVP

I'll admit it I'm addicted to sketches so today I cruised around looking for sketches that caught my eye. I found a few I hope to have time to play around with but when I saw the sketch over at The sweet stop and an idea instantly popped into my head and I just had to stop cruising sketch blogs so I could get my idea on paper.

Here's what I came up with:

Each piece was cut out with my Gazelle using paper piecing files from Kadoodle Bug Designs  This is actually an 8 x 10 piece of paper that will be framed. My kids isn't old enough to play baseball yet but my sister's kids all play baseball so I'll be making 3 of these cuties, minus the baseball player, for them to frame and hang in their room.

here's the sketch I used

panda birthday

This sweet image is made from paper piecing files from KaDoodle Bug Designs For this card I used 3 different files. The Bear is from Going Gumballs over you. The flowers are from Hula Bear and the Cupcake is from Good Luck bears.
The sketch I used is from Sweet Sketch Wednesday
You can't tell in the picture but the dark pink rectangle has flowers stamped in Versamark and dusted with Moon glow. Very pretty in real life.
The blue patterned paper is from The Angel Company and the rest are from my stash.
