I just love this stamp. His name is Kevin and he's a part of the Mabelle favorite set that's the special this month.

paper is Kaleidoscope Boyz, Flora 2 and Blue 1.
I colored him with prisma pencils

I bought this photo frame at Dollar Tree but wasn't thrilled with the design on the rame.


I used scras of Rustic Chic paper to cover the frame and covered it with modge podge.

This cute little card uses Flutterby, Rustic Chic paper, brown cardstock, and green 2 cardstock.
To make the flowers I rubbed my Belle Rose ink pad over white flowers until they were completely pink. I placed a brad in the middle.

b-day card for FIL

My father in-law's birthday is coming up. I don't have very many maculine cards in my stash so I had to make a card. I struggle with maculine cards so I was browsing through Paper Wings to see if anything there caught my eye. I found this gorgous card that Debbie made. For the most part I completely copied here card. You just can't mess with perfection.

I've seen cards like this floating around with links to Michelle Zindorf's tutorial but the card just looked to complicated. It was so easy! The hardest part was deciding what colors to use. So I showed the card Debbie did to my husband and told him I wanted to try to make this card for his dad. His question "Make it, are you going to print it out?" WHAT?!!!!! No, I'm going to remake this card.

I have the Happy trails set but all the free standing trees I have are evergreens Evergreens just aren't going to work, you have to stamp the trees in black, it will just look like a black blob. My solution. I pulled out my black marker, Let it snow and colored just the trees.

I finished the card and took it to my husband to see what he thinks. His reaction. He turns it this way and that way, looks at me and asks " Did you print off the card?" NOOOO, you can't just go online and print off a card someone else made. I made the card. He's impressed, not because I made it but because it looks very professional. Now mind you he is very supportive of my habit and always makes a positive comment but rarely do I get a wow. This card got a wow.

Here is my DH's V-day gift. Not your average gift for a male but it's to place on his locker at work. He still has the 1st sonogram picture that was taken in May! Our little guy is 3 months old so I thought it was time to put up some current pictures.

I used Rustic Chic paper. I just love that paper pack
the ribbon was dyed with Burnt Umber palette ink and I edges the circles with Burnt Umber
I cut the chipboard circles with my Bigshot and circle #1
I put pictures on both sides. I glued a magnet to a bullclip so he can flip it over when he gets tired of looking at those pictures. I also used the Tombow mono liquid glue and let it dry overnight so the pictures are removable.

I'd like to add a few embellishments before he I give it to him but I'm not sure that will happen. Our little guy is beginning to cut teeth and is fussy.
